Hi all!

Todays tourney in Gothenburg also featured a short EC organizer meeting
where the official dates of the EC 2007 was set. We decided that the
first weekend of August will be the best weekend to host the EC. That
means aug 3-5, which should be one week before ropecon (I'm sorry you
can't have your qualifier there, but this is the best we can do). This
info will hopefully be posted on the WW website as soon as our official
EC art is finished.

More info:
Current visions of the organizer/organizers (this is still unofficial)
is to have a LCQ on friday the 3rd, EC day 1 on the 4th and final
playoffs on aug 5. Drafts and other events will run during these days
to. After the EC Gothenburg will host vtes events for the entire week
(aug 6-13) for those of you that decide to stay for more than a weekend
(I sure hope you do). Events will feature pubgames, drafts, constructed
and beers in the sun. The week will also feature some nongaming related
events like sightseeing and, well, beers in the sun.
These dates (aug 4-12) are also the dates of the Gothenburg culture
festival which means that restaurants and bars move out on the streets,
lots of bands playing will be playing  and lots of people will be
having fun downtown (more info on this will be posted on the upcoming
ec website).
