V:EKN Clan Newsletter: Tzimisce OCTOBER 1999 Volume 1, Issue 6 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I watched them as the battle closes, 'Midst the carnage and the din. Seen their wounds like deadly roses, Blooming crimson on their skin. I've heard them coughing as they stumble, Heard their moaning as they lie, Heard frightened prayer turned to mumbles, And final silence as they die. Letters to the Editor ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I. FICTION: Crusade Columbia (Part II) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OCTOBER 1 1999 Since coming to Columbia as the Don Cruez I've learned to dislike the Camarilla society even more, as the ass-kissers line up one-by-one to try and sway my opinion to their issues. The Prince was more of a push over than even Lambach had foreseen, a gullible brute was all there was. He'd been an enforcer for the Brujah and lacked the overall brains to pull off more than a small heist of parking meters. He was fortunate to be blessed with a good circle of primogen, whom pulled his strings in almost every matter. When I gave my advice to the Prince he was all too eager to listen. The Prince was tired of being bossed around by the other clans, and was ready to take on more control, as he felt the primogen were looking out only for their own self interests. It was late this night when the first battle began, I encouraged the Prince not to call on the other clans for help this time, ensuring him that a strong Brujah Prince must show his might and prove that he's not dependent on the other clans to maintain order. As we looked down on at the small skirmish, I showed him how the enemy had left themselves in a bad position and were susceptible. I offered up a large arsenal of assault rifles and flamethowers something this Prince had been without. This encouraged the Prince and he proceeded without the aid of the other Camarilla clansmen, gaining more and more faith in himself, a dangerous thing indeed. The outgunned Sabbat vampires were torn to shreds in matter of minutes as machine gun fire rained down upon them. Finishing touches were applied, as the flamethowers sent the wounded into ashes. It pained me deeply inside to see my brethren slain for the cause. As I filled another little Sabbat buddy with lead, I realized that these Sabbat were all of the Antitribu clans and not of my own Tzimisce blood line, so in killing them I found it not such a terrible thing and finally started to enjoy the slaughter. I took pride in my work and my craftsmanship and the Prince noticed as I finished the last three remaining vampires. After the battle I approached the Prince, "Volker, there are spies amongst your inner circle. The traitors must be dealt with." "Whom?" He asked puzzled and frenzied. "Look into this ring I found on one of the Sabbat beasts. Gaze into it. You will see whom." He looked into the ring and saw the traitors, consulting with the enemy. Inside the image of clan primogen, handing over information to the antitribu clans, in return for bribes. The primogen's plan was to take out the Prince, in return propping-up a weak and fragile archbishop, only to topple him and regain the city for the Camarilla, naming Zack North the Prince of Columbia. They had deceived him for the last time, and a bloodhunt was called immediately for the traitors, Thorne, North, Ozmo, Paciola, and Marley. TO BE CONTINUED...
