Shhh. don't move. That could be painful. -Kanimana Belghazi. Hello vitiz crowd. Welcome to the new Nagaraja newsletter, 2nd issue. It took me a long time to figure the best way to construct a focus deck, using the inherent abilities of our 3 death scientists. As you'll see, the deck of the month features 2 Nags. The last one will be the focus of the next newsletter. The vampire of the month is Le Dinh Tho. Le Dinh Tho is the cheapest vampire in the Nagaraja family. What makes him useful is his special ability. Tho is the anti-bounce vampire you should put into every bleed deck. First action, Tho looks at your prey's hand and discard a card of your choice. wake or deflect ? At least it allows you to know what defence your prey keeps for your actions. Next actions : power bleed. It fits particulary well in decks like Giovani powerbleed, Tremere or !Tremere bruise and bleed. It fits well too in every deck with Dom. And in the denial deck, Tho is orgasmic ! For a 5cap vampire, Tho is a minion who should get a secure haven asap ! His annoyance power is such that he is a perfect target for rush. Avoid that, secure him. The deck of the month is called "Denial". It works. It works, but be sure you won't get friend with your prey after having playing this deck. But you gonna be feared by your playgroup. Why denial ? well, let's have a look on the crypt. 3 Nagaraja 5 Harbinger of Skull 4 !Ventrue The Nags are here for there special abilities. The Harbingers are here to become cardinals and Gisella to explode the banished vampire of your prey. They allow you to play slaughterhouses. The !Ventrue are here to influence votes in your way (Quentin, Demonstration.) The deck uses mainly Aus and Nec, and a lot of For. The core of the deck is vote, vote, vote, and it is by this mean you will oust your preys. To sustain this vote power, far different of a Lasombra one or a Ventrue one, you have to play nice actions to not be annoyed by the other voters on the table. Aus has a denial power against votes and bleed. Nec gives you stealth and combat ends. For may save you butt. Well. be Cardinal and Priscus asap. Assure you the vote lock, or be sure to be able to deal with. Then, play Meddling of Semsith. Kanimana is very useful with this card, cause for each Meddling you put in play, you hand size is reduced by one. Kanimana's special increases your hand size by one. With 2 revelations and Le Dinh Tho's special, your prey shouldn't be a problem. If Gisella has been influenced (she should ! Priscus for 7cap, she should !), banish small vampires of your prey. Then burn'em in uncontrolled region. Nasty ! Discard your prey's library, don't let him vote (!ventrue are here for that). Don't let him draw cards, discard cards in his hand, and vote to oust him. Secure the haven of your most important vampire. Deal the table with Meddlings. Be feared. Knowledge is power. Bartholomew should be put into play for only one thing : secure him, stay untapped, and reduce bleed. Well, this deck works well even if you don't get the vampire dedicated to one focus (ie : Kanimana with meddling, Barth with tel counter.). If you get him let's blow the table. The main problem is the rush power on a table. If so, whine, whine, whine. This deck has got many lacks but you should win however if you deal correctly with the table. So it is not a deck for beginners, but a real challenge for other players. Each vote passed is a step towards victory. That's all folks, have fun ! Eat their head ! Arpeges
