I-Intro II- Fiction III- Vampire of the Month IV- Bonehead card of the Month V- Deck of the Month VI- Conclusion I- Introduction Hello, I know it has been a while, but time flies when you are having fun. I am going to examine some non-traditional clan match-ups with the Followers of Set this Month. II- Fiction Ah, yes little one, I have missed you too. Where have I been? I have been shoring up our "investments" in the East. China? No my young friend, Russia. Now that the Brujah have disappeared, the time is right for us to make our moves into the "Motherland". Even the kine are aware of our presence over there. It is so invigorating not to have to wrap your schemes in shadows like the bandages of a mummy. We can operate out in the open with our retainers who are well seated in the political arena. Did I make any friends? Well, don't I always. Although I wouldn't be bringing my new friends to the next Toreador ball. They are a little "different", if you know what I mean. Maybe a little different is an understatement, but you will get the idea when you meet them. Oh yes, you are going to meat them. I mean meet them. I have arranged a course in Eastern-European culture for you. They have so much to show you. III- Vampire of the Month Aisha. What can you say about this vivatious red-head? She is great! Superior Presence, basic Animalism, basic serpentis, and basic Auspex, plus she can spend a blood to gain +1 intercept. She is the youngest vampire to have inherent intercept in the game. She is a perfect fit for either a Toreador intercept deck or a Tzimice intecept deck. I have an experimental deck that uses her in a crossover capacity with all the titled Tzimice. IV- Bonehead Card of the Month Grand Temple of Set. Pool Cost: 2 Unique location. During your master phase, you may move 1 blood from your pool to this card. During your influence phase, you may tap this card and burn X counters on this card to take control of a vampire controlled by your prey with a capacity below X. Any vampire may burn this card as a (D) action. This card seems to be the king-daddy of corruption, which I have to say is a "good thing", but some ham-headed designer put not one or two but three draw backs into this card. The first of which is that it cost you pool to put each of the counters on this card. Secondly, you have to have more counters on this card than the capacity of the vampire you are siezing with this card, so even your standard caitiff takes two turns. Thirdly, there is a built in burn action. Hello! Hello! table actions! So usually after you spend 2 pool to put it into play and spend another to put a counter on it, the entire table puts a bulleye on your Temple and burns it to the ground. Hey, next time I want to bleed myself for three, I will influence out Rex, the Economist, to show me how the law of dwindling returns works. V. Deck of the Month This is a deck that I put together trying to make the Grand Temple of Set work, then I realized how bad that card sucks. So I built, from what I have seen, to be the first ever Setite-Tzimice Political Deck. Check it out!
