Delilah in Concert (part 2)

After a few minutes a dark man walked over to his table and sat down.
'Jonathan, Delilah's manager.'
'Leopold.'
'I arranged a private meeting for you after the show.'
'Great, I'm looking forward to it.'
'The show will start any minute now.'

The lights went out and the spots were lit. Delilah walked in and took
her place on stage. She began to sing and her voice was soon joined by
a drum, electric guitar and bass. The audience got wild and everyone
started head banging.

Everyone, except Leopold. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. It
was horrible. He started to get a headache. On stage Delilah was
giving the best of herself, when she saw Leopold in complete disgust.
Leopold wanted to get up, but he was held down by the manager.

'Sit down!' a feminine voice said through the manager's mouth.
'I'm not impressed by your ventriloquism tricks, Miss Monroe. Your
voice is horrifying. It sounds like the noise of a cat with a sore
throat that is about to be snuffed out of its existence. I will report
to my sire that one would rather die than to listen to this thing you
call music.'

Angry, Leopold stood up and made his way out. Suddenly Delilah stopped
singing, everyone was holding his breath.

'I'm not through with you, Leopold,' she screamed, 'If you would
rather die, so be it.'
She got off the stage and walked over to him, singing the most
beautiful song ever with a honey sweet voice. Leopold was pined to the
ground. His head was spinning. Delilah put her head on his shoulder.
He wanted to object, but instead of the insults he was about to say,
Delilah's voice could be heard:

'Glad you took over, Leo. I can call you Leo, right?'
Leopold could only stare in void. He was entranced by the song Delilah
was producing through him.

'Ventriloquism tricks, huh?', she whispered, 'You're a fool, Leo, and
my boys and I, we don't like fools.' The punks who had been silent for
the entire time, got up, readying their brass knuckles. Delilah walked
back to the stage. While Leopold was beaten up, Delilah continued the
concert, after all, the show must go on.

Chorus

Madrigal VS Bewitching Oration
----------------------------------------

In my opinion BO is better than M:
- You don't have to play it before votes are cast.
- At superior, you get 4 votes which is very important for a clan
that has no vampires with titles.
- People tend to benefit too much from a superior Madrigal

The reaction thing is nice and all but you really need the 4 votes and
you need to be able to play your vote push when you need it and that
is not before votes are cast.
I tried a mix of BO and M, but the thing is that M is just plain bad.

Bridge

Gaël Pilet
6 cap, MEL FOR chi pre
Daughters of Cacophony
Independent:
Gael can never have more than 1 intercept. Any additional intercept
she gains is lost.

I have mixed feelings about her. Her drawback is not as bad as the
others, but 6 pool for MEL FOR chi pre isn't that good. Sure she can
play Kiss of Ra and Freak Drive at superior, but you'll probably won't
play a lot with either and you just can't afford to put Fortitude
skill cards in your deck as you need your Master phases for better
things. On the other side she doesn't have to burn blood to attempt to
block and she can block whoever she wants. Give her a Presence skill
card and she's great. The inferior Chimerstry is nice, but I haven't
figured out what it's good for. She might be the star vamp in a
DoC-combat deck, but that's something I still have to test. I wouldn't
play more than one copy in any deck, 'cause you only need the MEL and
Delilah and Angela are cheaper.

Mandatory Drum Solo

Deck Name: Beauty and the Beast
Created By: Den Alex
Description: A normal Ahrimane politics deck with the DoC to make sure
your key actions ( Cardinal Benediction, Crusade, KRC,...) don't get
blocked with Siren's Lure. You should definetly try this deck out even
it was just to see the look on your opponent's face when Muse plays
Carrion Crows. Don't forget Nettie has inferior Celerity in case you
need that extra stealth with Siren's Lure.
