Q1: How (and when) did you begin your career as a VTES-player? Who introduced you to the game? Where did you play originally?

I began playing the game during its design playtests. Richard Garfield/Wizards of the Coast would forward us designs for license approval and general feedback.

Q2: Which of the Sets and Expansions to VTES is your favorite, and why is it your top choice?

Bloodlines - because it opens up more strategic deck options and many more tactical deck construction options for existing strategies.

Q3: What is your favorite deck to play, and why?

Figuratively speaking it's always the next deck I build. I haven't even scratched the surface of interesting deck combinations so I'd rather build a new deck every time I get the chance to play. The last one I built was pretty basic ranged combat with Animalism and Potence with Nosferatu. I got 2nd place at a DragonCon draft tournament by drafting a similar deck. I like the Nosferatu clan and I love animalism. I'd prefer to do a bit less damage than other combat decks but let range protect me from being punished in return.

Q4: If you could add something to the game, what would it be?

That will be revealed with the Anarchs expansion.

Q5: What do you do to help promote the game / why are you in this list of people?

It was my idea to have White Wolf license the game back from Wizards (we at White Wolf own the Vampire property and Wizard's own the game design) and begin publishing the game again. I make small contributions to every aspect of the game from design to tournaments to marketing.

Q6: What is your favorite deck style for casual play / tournament play?

Voting since it fosters the most deal-making and makes casual games more social.

Q7: Is there a difference between your casual play and tournament play?

I enjoy competing so I tend to view tournament games as more competitive than casual games and approach them accordingly.
