Q1: How (and when) did you begin your career as a VTES-player? Who introduced you to the game? Where did you play originally? In October of 1999, a friend saw me sorting my Decipher StarWars card collection (which I was only a collector, not a player) and spent several weeks courting me to sit in on a Vtes game with him and a few friends. After playing 3 player for a month the people I was playing with burned out and I wanted some more. I looked on the VEKN site and found Robert Goudie and that group in Los Angeles. I played with them for 2 years until I fell in love with my good friend David Tatu from Atlanta. I turned him in to a husband and moved to Atlanta. |
Q2: Which of the Sets and Expansions to VTES is your favorite, and why is it your top choice? Jyhad. The original. Expansion is Final Nights. |
Q3: What is your favorite deck to play, and why? My favorite is an Animalism hoard deck. (Older version at Vtesinla.org.) It's not my most successful deck, but it's the most versatile, answers most archetypes, and suits my playstyle. |
Q4: If you could add something to the game, what would it be? Players |
Q5: What do you do to help promote the game / why are you in this list of people? I maintain the rating system at the WhiteWolf site. Have written an article for women who play the game. Mostly I contribute enthusiasm. |
Q6: What is your favorite deck style for casual play / tournament play? ??? I build all decks for potential use in a tournament. |
Q7: Is there a difference between your casual play and tournament play? My goal for every tournament game is to play "error free". An attainable goal for all tournaments. Casually I'm still experimenting on what I can get away with in tournaments....and the consequenses. |
