Q1: How (and when) did you begin your career as a VTES-player? Who introduced you to the game? Where did you play originally? I began with Sabbat Wars, and was introduced to the game by a Canadian WW representative holding a demo event at the "Crypte du Jeu" shop. Friends had told me about the game for a long time ("it isn't like Magic", "you like the RPG and should try it" etc.) but didn't have the time / patience to initiate a newbie. |
Q2: Which of the Sets and Expansions to VTES is your favorite, and why is it your top choice? Bloodlines, because I love to play weird, stupid combinations, and that I also enjoy decks based on a principal vampire (and this extension does have some great vampires). |
Q3: What is your favorite deck to play, and why? I hesitate between various variations on Necro bleed decks ; maybe the one I enjoyed the most was a Krassimir / Giovanni Bruise'n'Bleed : not the best version, but the one offering the most game possibilities. Soon at a Necrosite (http://necrobones.free.fr) near you! |
Q4: If you could add something to the game, what would it be? A vampire with NEC/DOM/OBT. |
Q5: What do you do to help promote the game / why are you in this list of people? I'm a Prince, and therefore hold tournaments, demos, and arrange travels for going to big events. I created the french "not-usenet" forum (news://news.zoo-logique.org/VTES-francophone), and am working on the Necromancing the Bones site (link above). |
Q6: What is your favorite deck style for casual play / tournament play? Bleed deck with an edge. |
Q7: Is there a difference between your casual play and tournament play? I experiment silly decks during casual play, and play the ones which worked best in tournaments. |
