Q1: How (and when) did you begin your career as a VTES-player? Who introduced you to the game? Where did you play originally?

A friend of mine (Jose Pacheco) told me about this game and taught me how to play it. That was in 1997, and we used to play in his home and in the same Game Center - Devir Arena, we still play nowadays.

Q2: Which of the Sets and Expansions to VTES is your favorite, and why is it your top choice?

I don't have exactly a favorite set, as i see always V:tES for the whole game. Anyway i still like a lot both Sabbat sets, and the latest Expansions are also very interesting.

Q3: What is your favorite deck to play, and why?

I like a lot to play with Gangrel Prince deck as i discovered that it is one of the most complete decks. I like a lot the Harbingers of Skull/Slaughterhouse, and althought it's not very much competitive, sure it's also very fun to play with.

Q4: If you could add something to the game, what would it be?

The game is still changing, and many new ideas are being implemented. Anyway, i like to think that it could be very interesting to have new ways to win the game, not only for pool loss.

Q5: What do you do to help promote the game / why are you in this list of people?

For a long time me and David Pontes the Prince of Lisbon give local support to the game, organizing regular tournaments, implementing locally the V:EKN rules almost from the begining, and managing V:tES with the national WW distributor.
I'm also the creator and webmaster of the best portuguese V:tES website, Powerbase:Lisbon, one of the most important places to keep the players informed. Right now i'm building a new V:tES website, even better and more updated.

I'm also one of the 3 Moderators of a V:tES Portuguese Mailing List called Vampire-PT, where the portuguese players discuss the rules, arrange meetings, games, tournament organizers also promote their tournaments at a national level and so on. I gave some few contributions to the Gangrel and Giovanni newsletters, and i still participate in the Newsgroup discussions.

Q6: What is your favorite deck style for casual play / tournament play?

I like a lot to play with different decks and strategies. Today i'm playing with Lasombra S&B, tomorrow may i'll play with Euro-Brujah Rush, who knows? I like a lot the Baali despite the annoying Infernal rule! Maybe the Gangrel are one of my favorite decks.

Q7: Is there a difference between your casual play and tournament play?

I must admit that i prepare more carefully the decks i bring to tournaments, as almost everyone here does the same! Usually the environment is quite different, as people usually bring their "killer-decks" to the tournaments. My behaviour might be a bit different also, as i feel a very competitive environment and behaviours during the tournaments.
