Q1: How (and when) did you begin your career as a VTES-player? Who introduced you to the game? Where did you play originally?

Began playing in 1994 IIRC, anyway i bought it the moment it arrived in the UK. i acquired it because i liked Magic and we taught ourselves to play Jyhad, getting a LOT of stuff wrong for many years. Originally we played at home, or in the lab.

Q2: Which of the Sets and Expansions to VTES is your favorite, and why is it your top choice?

Ancient Hearts, because it is so beautiful.

Q3: What is your favorite deck to play, and why?

Probably my Nosferatu Happy Families aka Kagemusha deck, because it does everything a bit, and flows so beautifully. It is archived under Happy Families decks [twice] at legbiter.tripod.com

Q4: If you could add something to the game, what would it be?

Can't think of anything, i believe Jyhad to be the perfect game.

Q5: What do you do to help promote the game / why are you in this list of people?

Write the Gangrel antitribu newsletter, devised the Happy Families deck-building method, run the odd tournament in Portsmouth, go to lots of tournaments, mouth off a lot on the newsgroup. Lasombra Jeff runs a website for me, thus covering the gaping hole in my computer literacy: legbiter.tripod.com is the address. And i am VEKN Prince of Wessex.

Q6: What is your favorite deck style for casual play / tournament play?

Casual play: Happy Families clan-based decks. Tournament play: varies, but i've had most success with decks based on titled Camarilla vampires, especially Malkavians [two of my three constructed tourney wins] and Nosferatu [second in UK nationals in 2000]. i also did quite well with a weenie potence rush/hack deck the previous year.

Q7: Is there a difference between your casual play and tournament play?

Casual PLAYS, yes. When i play at home we use Happy Families decks and aim for balance. When i play in the pub or at Garry's house i strive for tournament quality.
