Q1: How (and when) did you begin your career as a VTES-player? Who introduced you to the game? Where did you play originally?

Played Magic, eagerly awaited this new card-game called Jyhad, immediately loved it and dropped magic. Self-introduced. Played locally in Davis, CA. Play group was too small, started playing on-line as a result. Now due to marriage/child/job I only play online, but I'm considering rejoining the San Francisco playgroup this winter for some FTF action.

Q2: Which of the Sets and Expansions to VTES is your favorite, and why is it your top choice?

Ancient Hearts, because it has FoS and Assamite, and it came out early enough that I played FTF with those cards.

Q3: What is your favorite deck to play, and why?

My old standby is the 'double' deck - Beast/Bianca/Gaspare/Richter pot/CEL +1 damage, I've won games with it and made the finals of the first JOL tournament with it. All my decks are on-line but not posted or linkable.

Q4: If you could add something to the game, what would it be?

I do add something to the game - on-line play.

Q5: What do you do to help promote the game / why are you in this list of people?

I founded the Jyhad-On-Line (JOL) web site which has hosted almost 300 games of VtES in the last 7 years. (http://deckserver.net/jol). I continue to support the site, and the second JOL tournament is about to get underway.

Q6: What is your favorite deck style for casual play / tournament play?

I've always gone with rush, but my weenie auspex w/ guns I like as well.

Q7: Is there a difference between your casual play and tournament play?

No.
