Q1: How (and when) did you begin your career as a VTES-player? Who introduced you to the game? Where did you play originally?

I started in 1994, a friend introduced me. I used to play Magic back then - I gave it completely up once I played a couple of VTES games. I started playing in my home-city Vienna.

Q2: Which of the Sets and Expansions to VTES is your favorite, and why is it your top choice?

Bloodlines and Camarilla Edition. Bloodlines because of Matthias - he simply rocks. CE because I like the new design, the sublte changes and the new vamps.

Q3: What is your favorite deck to play, and why?

Matthias, V3.0 - there should be soon a tournament report with this winning deck from Austria. :)

Q4: If you could add something to the game, what would it be?

A much greater fan base...

Q5: What do you do to help promote the game / why are you in this list of people?

I'm the VEKN membership director - I appoint Princes who in turn promote the game - worldwide. I'm also responsible for VTES support. I organized the first ever VTES European Championships in Vienna, back in 1999. We helped VTES survive at that time, WW was very interested in the success of the EC when they took over. The EC 2000 was also held in Vienna, and again 2002.
I try to put a lot of energy in promoting the game and help everywhere I can. I'm more lurking than posting these days...

Q6: What is your favorite deck style for casual play / tournament play?

I make no distinction between these two, I try to play new decks and refine them all the time.

Q7: Is there a difference between your casual play and tournament play?

No, as stated. :) Perhaps I'm more cutthroat in tourneys. :)
