Q1: How (and when) did you begin your career as a VTES-player? Who introduced you to the game? Where did you play originally?

My career as a V:TES player started in 1996 when a friend of mine, Fabian Sosna, showed me how to play V:TES. We played just for fun and organized a small tournament every half a year at the local Roleplaying Con. Shortly after the EC 2000 I became the prince of Mannheim, Germany.

Q2: Which of the Sets and Expansions to VTES is your favorite, and why is it your top choice?

My choices tend towards Ancient Hearts and the Sabbat Edition but that´s mainly because I like the artwork which is featured in these two sets. The artwork just fits best towards the dark and spooky atmosphere of the game.

Q3: What is your favorite deck to play, and why?

My favorite deck would be my first build "tournament" Setite deck. This decks has accompanied me for about 6 years and is still fun to play. It will be published on the www.vekn.de site.

Q4: If you could add something to the game, what would it be?

A free Hot Chick when you buy a Booster Display!

Q5: What do you do to help promote the game / why are you in this list of people?

I am promoting the game by through:
-Maintaining the German www.vekn.de site.
-Writing the German Newsletter
-Writing for the German "Kartefakt" magazine (close to Scrye) along with Ole Christiansen
-Organizing the German Qualifiers together with Frank Möller and Johannes Walch
-sole V:TES representative at the world´s biggest game fair "Messe Essen" ( due to lazy German princes ;) )

Q6: What is your favorite deck style for casual play / tournament play?

I try my best to come up with some weird (however still functional) decks when I play casual games. While these decks may have only one/two strategies or combos, I prefer using decks at tournaments which allows you to take actions (or involvement) against everybody on the table. (War Ghouls, Intercept Decks with Eagles Sight, sometimes Vote Decks)

Q7: Is there a difference between your casual play and tournament play?

Nope. I am playing as relaxed in tournaments as I am playing relaxed in casual games.
