Here's my idea for a Vampire format using VTES/Jyhad starters. They have a random mix of cards so some kind of draft is needed. The same idea can be used for other games with similar randomized starters. SUCCUBUS SEALED --------------- 1. Each player is given one starter which they may open. 2. The players sit at tables of 4-6. 3. An additional starter is opened on each table and laid out for inspection. 4. Starting with the most charming player (the umpire gets a casting vote), each player may take cards in rotation from the draft pool on the table. Each card that is taken must be replaced by a card from their stock, matching type for type - Vampire for Vampire, Master for Master, Minion for Minion. 5. Draft trading continues until there is a round of passes. Players may now draft from the pool without having to trade cards back. This will exhaust the pool unless there are cards which no-one wants at any price. These go to make a booby prize for the worst player. 6. Players may now tune their decks and commence play. It's probably best if the players are reseated for the first round to discourage counter-drafting and to encourage cooperative draft trading. Andrew S. Davidson
