Clan Wars As posted by Paul Johnson to http://www.vtesinla.org A 10-week contest challenging players of all levels to accumulate the most wins using an assignment of clans until they succeed – or die trying! Submit two numbers between 01-100, one for an A list and the other for a B list clan. You may choose either clan to play with; the clans assigned to you are a secret until played. If one wins, it is not playable for the remainder of the conflict by anyone. You will not get a new assignment until both your clans are victorious, so be ready to dig in and FIGHT. All normal tournament rules apply with the following exceptions: 1) An A list clan may have no more than 25% Visiting vampires in the crypt. 2) A B list clan can have as many as 50% of the crypt as Visitors. 3) The % of visitors allowed drops by 5% for each duplicated vamp in the crypt of any type. Otherwise, there are no limits of duplicated vampires. Assuming 10 game-weeks in all for the Clan War, 3 wins would be quite good an accomplishment. Deals from game to game will be legal. Each player is a faction unto him/herself, so name your faction and put forth an agenda after being notified of your clans. Faction deals are as binding as normal deals… The faction with the most wins after the 10 conflicts (5 months of nightmare?) will be supreme over all he/she surveys. Ties are broken by VPs, and then by Table Points, then by who broke the least amount of deals. I will keep all the stats and update each session at the vtesinla website. If you do not sign up with me and get your clans, you can get assigned on the spot and even PLAY if you happen to have a conforming deck on hand – all good. Note that you will not know who is able to play which clans until they do, and even then it could be a visitor! Losing clans (80+%) will stick around, some for a long time. There will be NO proxies – play what you got and keep the whines to a minimum please. The scarce clans are never assigned, they are too… I don’t know, scarce. Some clans, although strong as a whole, have been separated in two and assigned as B list, so be cool when you get one of these. Ohhh BTW, the only B list you’ll ever get is the first one. Any added clans will always be an A lister. Have fun!
