Community Justice: Atlanta
Stone Mountain, Georgia
Multi-deck constructed tournament
8 players
2R + F

First round:

Lasombra Baltimore Purge preying on
Al-Muntaquim, The Avenger preying on
Masika and Anneke's Celerity Experience preying on
Theron and Marie Faucigny's Stealth Bazaar

Gratiano enter play first, and immediately received a fortitude skill
card. Theron had received some Fame, from the Toreador, so Marie with
the Bowl of Convergence and Al-Muntaquim joined Gratiano in torpor
when the first Baltimore Purge resolved. Gratiano was diablerized
while attempting a Rapid Healing, and his diablerist (Persia) was
burned in response. Al-Muntaquim had already eaten two Caitiff and
acquired a laptop when Aurora Van Brande graverobbed him. The
Toreador's relentless bleeds of 4 (2x2) convinced Theron that he had
to go backwords to survive, so he struck Anneke with the blowtorch.
Lucita graverobbed Anneke while Seducing Masika, and it was all over
but the shouting.

Theron+ 0.5 VP for withdrawal
Lasombra 3 VP

The second table took almost twice as long, as the Purge deck
encourages quick games. I don't know the specifics of that table,
except that its winner swept. I suspect it was a Guruhi deck that was
also played in the finals.

Second round:

Little Tailor's War Ghouls preying on
Potence Protean Quick Jab preying on
Aristotle and Marie Faucigny's Stealth Bazaar preying on
Nagaraja's Shambling Hordes

The first turn Unmasking made a significant difference, as it slowed
the game down considerably once there were 3 War Ghouls in play.
Alessandro Garcia's second action was to Bum's Rush Aristotle de
Laurent and Quick Jab him with Immortal Grapple and Wolf's Claws.
Nails was able to follow up with the diablerie, as the Edge was the
only vote on the table the entire game. The Stealth Bazaar, having no
answer to Immortal Grapple agg poke, brought out no more minions for
4-5 turns. During that time, the Nagaraja built up siginficantly.
The War Ghouls were diligent in trying to remove the potence protean
minions, but were stymied by Flesh of Marble and Earth Meld.
Eventually, all but 1 f the potence protean minions were in torpor,
but the Nagaraja and crew had been left alone too long. They
successfully bleed for 5 to oust the War Ghouls. Within the next few
turns, they were also able to oust the potence protean minions, and
Marie F. did make an appear and she did put out 3 Calls to get a
second minion, but their combined bleed was too slow, and too far
behind to keep the Nagaraja Giovanni Shambling Hordes from the sweep.

Nagaraja's Shambling Hordes 4 VP

The second table was swept by Ian Forestal the Ultimate Anarch. I
don't know the details of the other decks.

Entering the finals, every player had a game win, except the last who
had half a victory point from the first round:

Guruhi preying on
Jaroslav Pascek and his Brujah buddies preying on
Howler's Ahrimanes preying on
Joaquina Amaya's Tumnimos bleeders preying on
Nagaraja's Shambling Hordes

Guillaume Giovanni had the Unmasking and Dragonbound in play during
the first 2 turns. Unfortunately for him, Dragonbound ousted him. It
was a good game, with many twists and turns, the balance shifting
constantly. The Ravnos lunged to get the Nagaraja, and left him on 1
pool with 1 vampire in torpor. Unfortunately for the Ravnos, they
were unable to block the rescue, and they escaped the Dragonbound
death for a turn. The Ahrimanes cleaned up the Ravnos, and put
another of the Nagaraja's vampires into torpor. The Nagaraja was
unable to rescue and blocked diablerizing, so Dragonbound took him out
on its second try. After that, the game ground down to time, with
Howler having 2 Murder of Crows and 2 Raven Spys.

Ahrimanes 2.5 VPs
Guruhi .5 VPs
Jaroslav Pascek .5 VPs
